Men's Engineered Stretch Down Jacket

$ 399.00 USD

    The Engineered Stretch Down Jacket

The Engineered Down Jacket is a stitchless down jacket using a weave fabric with tubes as opposed to the traditional approach of stitching two pieces of fabric together. By doing this, we are able to create a down jacket that has superior stretch properties enabling increased mobility for the athlete. By removing the stitching, the jacket also becomes more durable.

    Stitchless Design

The Engineered Down Jacket uses water repellent 750 down fill, with a 90/10 down to feather ratio. We stuff this inside the woven tubes made of a 4-Way stretch hybrid material and free from wind, this down gets to shine. We then add taped YKK AquaGuard Zippers that keep the wind out and skier specific features, like a removable, helmet-compatible adjustable hood, google wipes, pockets where you need them, and waist adjustments.

The jacket features a stitchless construction making it lighter-weight than its counterpart the stretch puffy while maintaining warmth. Removing the stitching prevents pops, rips, and tears and exposes the down to wind, cold, and water.

    Weatherproof Outer Shell

We've used matte-style durable stretch weave with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) Coating that gives the jacket a 90/10 rating meaning that 90% of the fabric is free from water after being sprayed and it will withstand that performance after 10 washing machine cycles.

    Love this jacket

    Great looking, warm, highly functional

    Awesome Coat

Love this coat. I have had it for a month or so and have loved how warm it is. It’s surprisingly light and it’s great for training because of how stretchy it is. I would definitely recommend this coat if you are looking for a solid all around puffy.

    Cool Jacket

The jacket is great, but runs a bit small. Bought it for my old man for his b day. He loves it!

    Outstanding Jacket

I dropped in on the Kickstarter party believing that the Sync quality and innovation deserved my money, but a bit concerned whether I’d receive the jacket before the glaciers melt. I am overjoyed on each count. The jacket arrived last fall, just as promised and what a jacket is is! The cuffs are neat enough to go under gauntlet gloves but stretch enough to wear gloves underneath. The jacket breathes superbly and fit is enhanced by its ability to stretch a bit without binding. My build is more “wrestler” than park rat and often find jackets are either too tight across my shoulders or with sleeve length that extend past my hands. Not here; it’s got just enough room without looking blousey or feeling bulky. The pockets are well placed, with opening angles that feel natural. My only critique is that the hood lacks volume adjustment making it tough to use without a helmet. Other than that tiny issue, 5 stars. Bomber construction, great details and innovative design!

All my other jackets are jealous since I only wear this one now

I ordered this on the Kickstarter campaign over the summer in a large in blue. I like the color in person a lot more than I expected, it's a modern take on the blue that is different enough it stands out from the "technical" down jackets from the big name companies but not so much that you look out of place. I'm very athletic and usually find that jackets feel tight around my shoulders and back when I have to reach forward, the stretchy fabric in this is way better than I was expecting - there is zero grab as I reach and stretch in this. Really the complete freedom of movement in the arms and for twisting and moving around is awesome. Zipped up this jacket is warm enough that I can ride my kid to school on our cargo bike with just a t-shirt underneath down into the 20's but if I unzip it I'm not too hot walking the dogs at night in the low 60's. The sleeves are well thought out with a cuff that can go over work gloves or a ski racing glove - other jackets I have don't stretch enough to go over this kind of glove and you end up with a cold zone around the wrist - but the sleeves are easy to tuck into gauntlet gloves. I was skeptical about the fabric being tough enough to handle skis carried over the shoulder as in the video but I've skied 8 days in this so far carrying skis for me and my 7 year old and even with scissoring up on my shoulders once in a while there are no marks of any kind. I've only ever skied in a hard shell on colder days but this is my go-to now for sure.

    Great Minimalist design

I was looking for something simple, waist length, with a hood that will cover a helmet. This shell fits the bill. Size wise, I am 5'8", 165 lb and the medium fits nice, snug but not tight, still room for a layer or two. Very well engineered and can't wait to try the stitchless down jacket that stretches and is waterproof. About time someone tackled that.

    A Valuable set

Perfect bag to carry all what I need for my 3 kids/racers

    8120 Ski Pant

I bought these pants for my daughter for ski racing. The waist is a little big but the Velcro sides help to keep the waist secure. Having multiple pockets is a big plus. She has gotten more compliments on these ski pants more than any other pair she has worn (Glacier). 👍🏻👍🏻

Soooo warm and the stretch is wonderful
I get so many compliments, that is not why Iive in it
It is great because I only need one layer under even on the coldest days
Thanks for make a great jacket
