Pro Bib Pant

Observations after one week on snow: These are made from nice heavy material, adequately insulated, and overall a good fit. I expect they will break-in rather nicely too. Minor complaint: the cuffs are surprisingly tight on unbuckled boots (these are meant for coaches, right?). Knee pads are awkwardly placed but they are removable and I don't spend much time on my knees, so I took them out. Biggest issue is the suspender straps. As others noted, they are too long and too stretchy, and when I tighten them, the weirdly large buckle ends up just above my collar bone, which makes wearing a backpack uncomfortable. I will need to modify the suspender straps somehow so the silly large buckles stay on my chest and not up on my shoulders. The bi-directional fly zipper is definitely a useful feature. Overall, I would recommend however the suspenders / buckles really are a bummer.

I've worn Spyder coaches bibs for 20+ years and they finally wore out. I bought another pair, but their canvas version was super bulky, heavy, and I had to wriggle myself into them. The Synch ones are not heavy, bulky, or hard to put on, and they've got pads in the knees and lots of pockets - giant strap adjusters for some reason, but I can get past that. Haven't worn them on the hill yet, but am looking forward to putting them to work.

I have had many coaches bibs (Helly Hanson, Spyder, Descente) over the years and these are by far the best so far. 2 way front zipper, lots of pockets, waterproof and warm but not too warm. The suspenders are super adjustable, 2 way full side zip when you need to cool down and lots of belt loops to keep your drill holder, leatherman and anything else you add to your belt in place. The canvas (heavier) material is super durable and has held up to over 100 days of skiing this season without a mark. 6'1" and 195lbs and I fit in a large size. Thanks for making a great product.

As advertised these pants are a work horse. They are functional, have lots of pockets, comfortable and keep me warm. The only drawback is that they are made for tall people and the knee pads ride a little low for someone of 5'-7" and you have to remember to roll up the cuffs.

I'm 3/4 of the way through a season of coaching and volunteering with the Canvas Pro Bib Pants. I got the canvas version for durability, and I was not disappointed. They are tough, warm, and, as I have found out recently, quite waterproof. I have a couple of suggestions. I find the suspenders too stretchy. Even with a work belt, when you're loaded down with gear, the pants can tend to sag. I had the susupenders trimmed by about 5 inches and I think I need to trim them again to get them to fit correctly. My other suggestion is to add more and larger cargo pockets. The pocket that is over the left knee is only big enough for a couple ski straps without impeding knee function. It's a really good product and with a couple of small adjustments it would be a great one!
