Men's Shelter Insulated Ski Parka

Nice jacket have used twice and as I was taking it off I noticed that the Velcro had separated from the jacket and was partially attached. Disappointed that this happened so quickly.

The XL seems to fit. 6' 210lb. Sleeve length seems good. After a day on the slopes more will be known.

Thus far, I have been very pleasantly surprised by every piece that I have ordered from Sync. And as a retired product developer from the industry, I don't hand out accolades freely.

Despite having fully insulated kits from several other brands, the Sync kit is my go-to now.

Note: I am in that in-between land of M and L sizes. I am a soild L in Sync.

As a college ski coach, I spend long days outside in really cold northern New England and this coat held up to the demanding rigors I put my coats through whether it's rain, sleet or snow. I spent a week coaching in Canada and I don't think it ever went above 0 F and I was warm. Hood was super functional. On the days where I'm not coaching, I found it very technical for a long day of skiing hard, pit zips worked great. Great jacket, highly recommend.

The parka is very warm and designed well. I appreciate the aesthetic and details. Unfortunately, the second time synched up the left sleeve velcro strip the thread snapped and I spent the rest of the day with a lanyard band holding the sleeve over my glove.
Im keeping the coat but sent it to my tailor to shore up the weak point. 4 stars but woukdve been 5 without this situation.

The jacket came in and I was very impressed with the quality and fit. Used it on a ski trip and was even more impressed by the end of the week. It kept me warm and comfortable the entire time. The only ski apparel I will use going forward.

We use the shelter coat as our winter uniform so it was the obvious choice for a personal replacement for a 15 year old winter coat. It's very warm, has a great hood, waterproof (although not tested in spring rain) under heavy snow conditions and very durable. The shelter enjoys lots of roomy pockets and it looks great as well. The price on sale was tough to beat comparatively speaking with the other quality brands. My only slight negative would be the sizing - I went up one size to be able to layer up underneath if needed. Highly recommend the shelter coat however.

Fantastic fit for a big guy. This jacket is so comfortable you won’t want to take it off no joke. The only thing I would like to see is something to keep the sleeve of the jacket from pulling up when you have gloves on. I think it’s called a thumb hole sleeve.

5’10” 168lbs, Size medium jacket. Love everything about this jacket- warm, great athletic fit, stretch and love the color (blue). Incredibly functional with multiple pockets, pit zips etc. My go to with simple base layer on cold days (up to 20 degrees F). Quality is excellent exceeding the big name recognition brands in my opinion. Bonus you don’t look like everyone else on the Mountain! Great product

Very substantial and warm jacket. Not a lightweight, stuff into small size type of jacket. Size M fit well, 6'2 and about 175 lbs.

I really like the jacket. I wear the Headwall or Shelter depending upon the conditions here in Canada. I love the fit of the Shelter. I wear a XXL in both and I am 6'4" and 220lbs
...I wish the XXL in the Headwall fit the same. For some reason, it is much more restricting.

Looks great and is very warm without being heavy. The longer tail really helps to keep your low back warm and the stretch fabric means no binding or restriction during movement.

Overthought my selection (looked at all the comparable jackets) wow SYNC really is a great choice, super value and the quality is top notch! Keep adding quality products guys!

So far so good. Warmer than I thought it was going to be when first tried it on, and looks great! It runs a little small so if you’re in between sizes, go up for sure. At 5’10”, 160lbs, I’m a consistent medium and this is a bit smaller than I want. The arms are short and the powder skirt rides up.

Good looking coat, super comfie and warm. Love it. I'm sure I'm skiing better because of it!

Received this jacket recently. Got to use it the first time a couple of days ago. Temperature was 5 F and with a light weight puffy and wool long underwear top I was completely comfortable. Fit is good and articulation in the places I want works well. I am still not sure about the plastic velcro type tabs that shelter the zipper but they were holding their place, a bit finicky to connect in gloves...remember the temperature I mentioned. Overall I am pretty pleased.

Super nice weather proof jacket. Plenty of functional interior storage pockets.Love the armpit zips which make it more versatile. Have not had to add layers, as it is very warm. I'm 6'3" 230 pounds and ordered the XL. The fit around the 'waist'is not generous.
And the sleeves are about 1/2" too short for my long arms. Construction and materials are outstanding. Including the zippers. Thank you SYNC for functional 'Real World',

Great jacket. Extremely warm. Weather proof enough for all but continuous rain, which it would be too warm for anyway. My only gripe, upgrade the zippers…a lot. They don’t fit the quality of the rest of the jacket.
