Check out what Foreste has been up to and how her season has been going!

Q: So where did you grow up skiing?

A: Squaw Valley.

Q: What is your favorite discipline and why?

A: GS because there is no better feeling than linking a string of sweet GS turns together.

Q: How has this season been going so far? Are you on track for the goals you set out for yourself at the beginning of the season?

A: My season started really strong with a couple of Nor-Am podiums and a World Cup start at Killington. I, unfortunately, had some rough races at Burke after the New Year but I am still on track to go after a Nor-Am GS and slalom title, which I had set out myself this season.

Q: So where do you see yourself in five years?

A: If not competing on the World Cup, then I see myself working in the ski racing world while also pursuing big mountain skiing goals.

Q: If you could give yourself one piece of advice when you first started racing what would it be?

A: Compare yourself less to those around you and focus more on what you can do to better yourself.

Q: Can you walk us through your pre-race routine and describe how you mentally prepare?

A: My pre-race routine typically includes a morning warm-up (jog, dynamic warmup, core, and foam rolling), oats and coffee for breakfast, a couple of free ski warmup runs before and after inspection, and some visualization. I try to keep things as simple as possible from a mental standpoint. Honing in on one technical focus and one tactical focus seems to work the best.

Q: Finally, we have to know, if you could be any part of a burger what would it be and why?

A: I would be the pickle because it's sweet and salty
