Junior Top Step Pant

Our 48 inch tall ski racer needed zip off pants for race days. These are the only size 6 kids race pants that zip off I could find.

A friend recommended sync for the step side zip pant.

Pants seemed to be nice quality, but the fit didn’t work.
5’ tall, 75 lbs:
Size 14 waist/seat were very oversized on my kiddo , but size 12 inseam was too short

Great fit, very waterproof, light insulation, 3/4 zip is great.

My daughter is 49" and 47lbs. These fit a bit loose in the waist, but between the velcro adjustments and using a belt, it's not an issue. They will definitely work for a second season. They are very stylish and my daughter loves the purple. She wears them in all conditions and the insulation helps keep her warm even on the coldest days. The top step design is great for not having to start the zipper again, but it does make it a bit more difficult to get the boot out of the pant. Also, the buttons are a little more difficult to snap than other buttons.

The fit is tight in the crotch and waist is too short to the crotch area. Also on the jacket junior blaster the arms are too short and it should have a draw string at bottom to tighten against powder entering.

It is hard to find a full zip pant that stays relatively fitted as you size up. Most pants get super boxy in the legs. My growing 11 year old daughter sized up for length in the top step pant and she isn’t swimming in them. Thank you for making an awesome training pant!

I am so pleased I purchased these pants for my U8 racer. Designed perfectly with a sincere attention to form, fit and function. She loves the purple!

These are well thought and well made, especially for kids, with the top step side zips, which don't come all the way apart and makes it easier to take off and put back on on their own when on the hill.
I will definitely buy again! Actually, already bought 3 pairs of these, one for each of my kids and one pair for myself!

This item took much too long to receive for a Non-logo item. I emailed to cancel the order because we needed the pants by Mid- December. They shipped the day after I emailed in January which was a surprise. Now we have an extra pair of pants that we did not need.

These are great pants and well made. I think a more robust fabric than the ones from the insect company. The stretch is not super stretchy, but it certainly make them more comfortable. For little kids the way the zippers don’t come all the way apart makes it much easier for them to put them back on while still on the hill.

Fit is great! Easy to remove pants with side zip and get back on (without having to tethered a zipper, which can be hard for kids). Only drawback is it would be great to have suspenders for size adjustments

Overall pant is great traditional ski racer design, full side zip, durable material, warm. Fit wise, the length is true to size, but has some decent room in the waist. Which is fine overall, but my son is on the skinnier side, so he needed a a bit more room on the Velcro than came with pant to get a good fit (aka keep the pants up). Molly at Sync warrantied the pant for me to get it over to a local mountaineering repair shop to add some Velcro. Pant is now perfect and will provide years of use for him and whomever inherits it after he grows out of it. Thank you Sync for the great pant and standing behind your products!
