Women's Top Step Pant

I ordered the pants that were described on the website with the back pockets. I received the new version without back pockets. I kept them because I know your product is warm and will last, but I was disappointed.

These pants are perfect for tall girls and fit perfectly over a race suit. The only thing I would recommend is sizing up :). otherwise these pants are super comfortable, fit amazing and are super warm when they need to be. They also take a beating, so they are very durable. 10/10 recommend.

My daughters love this pant as they have tall athletic builds. These pants take a beating and hold up well.

Great fit and nicely made

I was looking for a full side zip pant since I ski with a knee brace. These are perfect. The fact that they keep me warm even on the coldest days is an extra perk. I love the choice of color too|!

They are pretty warm and I was worried when taking them off with the side zip the puffy material that lines the pants would rip from my buckles but it hasnt damaged it yet.

My daughter races and loves these pants. They fit great over her race suit and are easy on and off.

I need a zip up for my DonJoy brace. Works great for that but had to get a large to accommodate the brace-but have a medium waist. So now I am sorting out belts to keep the pants up! Grateful for the side zip though!

As a pro skier with 2 wonky knees I always seem to be dealing with prosthetics of one kind or another. Having a side zip on my pants is essential for dealing with adjustments, etc. I wish more manufacturers would make this an option.

I reallyike the fit and length. The side zips make putting on my knee braces easy. One thing I'd like to see in this pant is a stretch fabric like I have on some of my other ski pants.

Some of the best pants available for racers and non racers alike. High quality, warm, side zip is perfect. Outgrew the first pair and it was a no brainer to buy them again. Bought for 13yo girl, age class racer, 5’4 118 lbs bought an adult size small. Fit perfect length wise, the velcro waist tabs are pulled all the way in. Overall the fit is good for her.

Fit like they’re supposed to, and easy zippers make getting pants off a breeze on race day.

I can't remove a previous review, so i'm writing again to give these pants 5 stars. My daughter loves the fact that they are warm, very weather resistant (even when sitting on freezing wet chairlifts), and have a bit more of a form fit to them so are streamlined for training. They are SO easy to get off before a race, and then back on at the bottom of the hill. Because of the top step feature, they go on quickly (no twisting) and without even removing your gloves! Sync has kept their promise on replacing/fixing any issues. Do be careful with the front zipper and make sure that front clasp is sewed in well; with those in place, they will give you years of warmth and speed.

My kids have raced for 10+ years. We have purchased many full side zip pants over time. Sync's pants are thicker & warmer. They wash well and the material is high quality. The company ships quickly. The side zippers hold up well and the step in design works so much better than the full zips. The side zippers and zipper pulls have held up through busy seasons. They fit true to size and the back size adjustment in the waist works great. Two of the four pair we have purchased have had the front fly zipper become totally mangled in a season's use since this zipper is a little less hearty than the side zips. That would be my one concern.

I teach, today I am at 73 days plus a couple more for xcountry and snow shoeing. Needless to say my ski pants get use. When my ski pants are washed I use a tech wash to prolong waterproofing and color. I noticed that after multiple deep powder snow days a few tiny slices from my skis on the bottom of the pant leg. I guess it’s wear and tear.

These pants are excellent quality, and the side zipper is super nice for stripped runs. They do run on the tighter size, so if you want them a little looser, I would recommend sizing up.

I purchased sync ski pants for girlfriend 5 years ago. Unfortunately the new edition of the pants changed so much they needed to be returned. The new leg pocket made the fit to tight in the legs and there was too much fabric in the belly area. Change isn’t always a good thing.

My daughter is so happy with these. Great fit, keeps her warm, but light and comfy - and she didn’t even get wet in the Pouring rain! (PNW skiing!).

Idea of stepping into already partially attached pant sounds really good in theory but is not so great on the hill. Thought I would love these since I hate fumbling with regular full zip pants but I found these even harder to deal with. The pant has to be on the ground to either put it on or take it off, then struggle to get boot in or out of pant. Maybe would be easier if you could sit while doing this, but that’s not a reality at top or bottom of race course. Even worse now in spring with muddy boots or ground.
Sad that I will probably not use these next year because color, fabric quality and fit is good ( all though a bit long as others said)

These are meeting my needs. Things it would have been nice to have for me personally as a short woman who mostly uses these for staying warm walking or snowshoeing, on and off over bulky boots: ability to request a shorter inseam; less stiff fabric; no front opening and side zips all the way to the top for complete flexibility. But I looked elsewhere and side zips were hard to find, so thank you for these.

Hello Molly, my daughter loves these pants! Loves the color, fit and function. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the first day she wore them, the left, front belt loop stitch came loose...it’s an “internal” stitch that probably wasn’t done properly initially and wasn’t visible on inspection. We were going to swing by the Sync store in Vail when we were there for a race, but didn’t have time...it’s not too big a deal and will stitch it up so it works.

These pants are so warm and very functional. The quality is also very good. The fit is a bit large but everything else is great. I would definitely recommend.

Great color and great fit, a bit low waisted but the material is great and the partial side zip is a really great feature

These are awesome pants for racers with a full side zip. Warm and functional for training and race day.
