The SYNC Junior Team Canada is a collection of up and coming athletes who compete for teams and clubs all across Canada. For it's inaugural season, the SYNC Junior Team Canada consists of 10 athletes ages 13 to 19 years who will represent SYNC for the 2023/2024 season.
KENDRA GIESBRECHT
Kendra is a U18 and skis for Banff Alpine Racers. This past season Kendra placed first in a National Junior Race in Ponte di Legno, Italy, top 15 at the slalom NorAm Cup in Whistler, BC, and top ten in slalom at the National Championships in Kimberley, BC.
JESSE KERTESZ-KNIGHT
Jesse is a U21 and skis for Banff Alpine Racers E-Team. This past season Jesse competed for Canada at the World Junior Ski Championships in St. Anton, Austria and also earned 3 Junior NorAm podiums with one of those podiums being a Junior win.
LILLY SCHOFIELD
Lilly is a U16 and skis for Team Panorama. This past season Lilly earned the Alberta U14 Overall title and placed on the podium 14 times.
THOMAS CAIS
Thomas is a U18 and skis for Lake Louise Ski Club. This past season Thomas was 1st in the Overall Standings for the Alberta Provincial Race Series, second in Giant Slalom at U16 National Championships, and top 10 in Slalom at Whistler Cup.
HANNAH JENSEN
Hannah is a U18 and skis for Whistler Mountain Ski Club. This past season Hannah placed second in the Slalom and tenth in the Giant Slalom at Whistler Cup and in the top ten in Super-G, Slalom, and Giant Slalom at Canada Winter Games.
OWEN WAGNER
Owen is a U18 and skis for National Capital Outaouais Ski team. This past season Owen placed first Overall at the Outaouais Ski Zone Championships and second place Overall at Eastern Nationals.
ROXY COATESWORTH
Roxy is a U18 and skis for Apex2100. This past season Roxy won the Slalom, Giant, Slalom, Super-G, and Skier Cross at Canada Winter Games and won the Giant Slalom, Super-G, and Team Event at Whistler Cup.
FINN FOSTER
Finn is a U16 and skis for Osler Bluff Ski Team. This past season Finn reached the podium four times in Slalom and Super-G, with two of those podiums being wins, and once in Giant Slalom.
LAUREN CROSS
Lauren is a U14 and skis for Calgary Alpine Racing Club. This past season Lauren has had 12 top 10 finishes in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and Super-G but she is most proud of her fourth place in her first ever Super-G.
ERIK HAZY
Erik is a U16 and skis for Camp Fortune Ski Club and NCO U16 Development Team. This past season Erik was ranked the number one 2008 in Giant Slalom and placed top 10 in Giant Slalom and Slalom at the Searchmont Ontario Cup Finals.
