The SYNC Athlete Fund, administered by the TA Foundation, exists to support ski racing athletes who demonstrate both competitive promise and financial need.
Since its founding in 2019, the TA Foundation has been committed to advancing the future of ski racing by creating opportunities for athletes who may otherwise face financial barriers. Through direct grants and support programs, the foundation works to ensure that dedication, talent, and potential—not financial circumstances—determine how far an athlete can go.
Grants are awarded annually to junior and senior athletes to help cover ski racing-related expenses, allowing athletes to continue pursuing their goals at the highest levels of the sport.
All grant decisions are made independently by the TA Foundation.

WHAT THE FUND SUPPORTS
Grant funds may be used for:
- Training expenses
- Travel costs
- Competition fees
- Equipment needs
- Ski racing-related education
Each year, the TA Foundation awards funding to athletes who demonstrate strong potential and alignment with the foundation’s mission.
Selection Criteria
Applications are reviewed by an independent committee and evaluated based on:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Competitive results
- Quality of application responses
- Letters of recommendation
- Alignment with the TA Foundation’s mission

SYNC Performance supports the visibility of the SYNC Athlete Fund through program promotion but does not participate in grant selection decisions.
