The Men's Headwall Stretch Shell Bib Pant features a highly abrasion resistant Recycled Nylon with 4-way stretch fabric, 20k/20k waterproof breathability, fully taped seams, and 3-way YKK Aquaguard waterproof side leg zippers for full leg ventilation. With the Headwall Bib you get all the flexibility and durability of our Headwall collection, plus the off-the-grid convenience of a bib-style pant. That means next time nature calls, you don’t even have to remove your jacket.

The Lululemon of ski gear. Looks good (not baggy), feels good (athletic fit, 4 way stretch), high quality.
Pants stretch well. The inseam is a strange fit, it’s almost like you have to pull the shoulder straps super tight so that they ride high enough to not sag or drop. I’ve worn mine 6 days and the zipper in the front pulled away from the material… big problem. Pockets are good. Boot cuff is normal. Straps are normal. Very comfortable. I like the fact that Vail has an apparel mfg.
When I first received these bibs, I was worried they were a slim fit like other bibs I've worn and would be too restrictive. Being in the dad phase of my life and enjoying my fair share of IPA's, I need a little extra room to move around. They stretch beautifully in all the right places and I don't feel any resistance wearing them. Love the different zipper options to allow for venting and numerous pockets for pass/beacon/phone/chicken sandwich. Quality made and seem like they are going to serve their purpose for many years to come.

Materials and construction of the bib are all very good quality. Happy with that. Not all that happy with the fit. Sync's fit profiling is a cool idea, but it put me in a large and a medium would've definitely been better. If it had some loops for a belt or built-in adjustment around the waist, then that would provide some personal "customization" of the fit. As is, I'm stuck with the bagginess of the waist and I have the suspenders cranked to hold the pants up so they aren't too long. In short, great quality item, not great fit.

You can see and feel the quality in these and you absolutely get what you pay for. Ankle cuffs, useful pocket options and three way zippers (both sides and middle) for easy on/off are some of my favorite features. Regarding fit, as someone with a dad bod the stretchy fabric is the best feature for me and is very forgiving which makes it easier if you’re between sizes. I am a 36 waste and went with the XL which will fit me perfectly after I shed some COVID calories.
