Two Colorado brands team up with infamous Instagram account @slalomtokyodrift

Today we are excited to announce a partnership with the infamous Instagram account, @SlalomTokyoDrift, and Ski Town All-Stars, Premium Hat Supplier, also based in Vail, Colorado. The product collaboration is meant to raise awareness and funds for the YES Foundation. YES’s mission since the organization was founded in 1968 has been to inspire and challenge youth with physical and mental activities that foster life-long respect for self, others, and the environment. $5 for every item sold will be donated to the YES Foundation.

“I've partnered with Youth Enrichment Services for one year as a volunteer coach and member of their strategic planning board. I previously coached Wildcat's U16 team for four years, which taught me to enjoy coaching skiing as much as I did racing. YES is a totally different challenge, and even more rewarding. We take inner-city kids from Boston into the mountains, and for many, this is their first-ever time skiing. The feeling of watching someone get off a chairlift and make it down a trail for the first time is inspirational, especially for those of us who have grown up with the love of the mountains. Obviously we go get waffles from Waffle House after. Skiing has never been a diverse or accessible sport, and YES helps bridge the gap by offering opportunities to get onto the slopes that many of these kids would never have otherwise.” explained, Ian Macomber, Founder of Slalom Tokyo Drift.

SYNC will be providing the two tee shirts offered, and Ski Town All-Stars will be supplying the two styles of hats in the collection. The embellishment of the product will also be contributed to the collaboration by Ski Town All-Stars.

“We are extremely excited to launch this collab with Slalom Tokyo Drift and Ski Town All-Stars. Since the inception of SYNC, creating opportunities for all athletes, which we deem everyone to be an athlete, has been at the core of our existence. Having a platform to be able to support foundations, such as YES, gives us the opportunity to use our skill set in order to grow mountain athletics, and introduce skiing to many more groups of people with diverse backgrounds.” said, Geof Ochs, President, and CEO of SYNC Performance.

“All of the hats and shirts are logoed with the STD motto, “Stay Drifty.” It’s a perfect message in times like these, where we have to remember to stay positive and hang loose no matter the circumstances. There’s enough negativity in the world. Who needs more of that!” remarked Chris Bivona, founder of Ski Town All-Stars.
