    On-Mountain Workwear

Taking a workwear approach to the mountain, the Pro Bib is made for those long days on the hill, built with no-nonsense function. Insights from athletes and coaches from around the world helped design and test this new bib pant. Putting it through the wringer from Mt. Hood to Saas-Fee to Ushuaia. Comfort, warmth, and protection are the most important aspects to a successful day of work on the mountain, and the Pro Bib is designed to embody all of these qualities.

    Technical Details

    • 40 gms of Thermore® Insulation
    • Two oversized handwarmer pockets
    • One chest pocket large enough to fit a cellphone or radio

    Functionality, and Flexibility

Integrated XRD® Impact Protection foam knee pads save those achy knees and joints from kneeling and impacts.

    1. The X-Pad ‘hex pattern’ is designed with maximum motion and flexibility in mind.
    2. Infused with Microban® Antimicrobial Protection to help fight the growth of odor-causing stains, bacteria, and mildew.
    3. Developed with a front-facing, durable TPU film for excellent abrasion and tear resistance.

    Resilient Fabric

The Pro Bib features SYNC’s proprietary DuraMotion 200 fabric. Why "200"? We use premium dyestuff rated at 200 hours of lab testing in order to provide you, the end consumer, with a product that won't break down. The rest of the industry is rated at 10-40 hours. Everyone knows UV-rays degrade petroleum products, meaning that sun-faded garment actually means the product is failing. So we've invested in time and energy through product development and R&D to make sure your SYNC garments outlast the rest of your gear closet.

    Durable features

The inside of the cuff is the most highly impacted zone on a ski pant, which is why we invested in SuperFabric® scuff guards. SuperFabric® is ready to fend off rock, ice, edges, debris, scuffs, and scrapes.

    Great So Far

    Hi Molly,

I only have two days in my new bibs given the short season in New England this year.

    Otherwise:

    Easy purchase
    Fast Delivery (Three thumbs up)
    Exactly what I ordered
Decent fit (I would tweak a few things)
    Priced correctly

    Love these bibs!

First, quality, fit and function are priorities for anyone who works on the mountain. The pro bibs check all the boxes. Regardless of job, these bibs give enough leg room to layer up or down and offer both an adjustable waist as well as sturdy belt loops to further customize your fit. My belt with drill hook, multi-tool, quickdraw, etc. fits well and all have a place.

As for feedback for Sync, personally, I would alter or add options for us mountain pros. Here's a couple suggestions to get started: 1) add or alter at least one of the chest pockets or move the zipper such that a much deeper, more accessible pocket can be achieved (specifically for a radio, I prefer not wearing mine on my belt). 2) the material protecting the inside pant leg at the lower cuff could be brought around the bottom-most two inches of the cuff. For me, I'm a coach and jump in gates all day long; after day one, I already scuffed the lower-outer cuff and center-shin area of the pant with gate burns. 3) Suspenders... meh, the back, with it's narrow cross is awkward at the neck for those of us with smaller frames. Since these are unisex bibs, maybe offering two styles of backs would be best. I would prefer a half-back coverage with straps that travel over the shoulders in a 'H' fashion. These are small tweaks... Nothing massive, so I'm really all good here!! Thanks Sync!

All the features you need for coaching EDC. Solid!

The Pro Bib pant is a solid option. The fit was great for me (5'11" 195, size Large). Pockets are excellent: two thigh pockets hold tourniquet and stop the bleed supplies in one, hand warmers and a bar in the other. Zippered hand pockets are perfect for keys and anything you want to keep secure. Back pockets for wallet or stuffing a radio into. Two chest pockets are great for a small notebook, pen, highlighter, and your pass for the days you're doing B net work and drop your jacket. Bibs are lightly insulated, but both breathe and vent well. Big wide belt loops are perfect for a leather work belt. The fit is definitely slimmer than coaches bibs by Spyder or Helly. Bigger people should consider a size up. My only minor quibble is that the straps are super stretchy and usually slip an inch over the course of the day. I'm usually adjusting them at lunch and resetting them every morning when I put them on. Overall, I'm glad I purchased and have made good use of them this season.I expect several more good seasons of use.

    Great Coaching Bib!

I was looking for a pair of full side zip race pants that were good for coaching. I love that the knees have discrete padding, not like the obnoxious padding of other brands. The perfect fit questionnaire really directed me to the right size bib. The only reason I give 4 stars, is because I wish the bibs were slightly warmer. They are just a shell. I understand that it states that in a few places, but somehow, I still expected slightly more insulation. I just wear a fleece lined outdoor pant under instead of a yoga pant and I am now super toasty in them. I definitely recommend them.
